Athelhampton House & Gardens, Athelhampton, Dorchester, Dorset, DT2 7LG  01305 848363

An Athelhampton Wedding

The perfect location just 7 miles from Dorchester, just a mile off the A35. Athelhampton is within easy reach of Poole, Bournemouth, Weymouth and Yeovil.

We have been looking after Wedding Ceremonies & Receptions for over 20 years and have become one of Dorset's favourite wedding venues. Why? its lots of little things... but our top 3 reasons are.

1. An Athelhampton Wedding, is totally private, the venue is closed to all other visitors on your wedding day.

2. We plan each wedding specifically to your exact requirements, including tailor made menus, it really is 'your wedding, your way'.

3. We work with honesty, integrity and we respect our couples & we respect the wedding budget.

Your Wedding

You will have an amazing wedding day at Athelhampton, it will be perfectly planned and will be relaxing and enjoyable for you and your family and friends.

Our professional and courteous service combined with our  stunning venue adds to the magic of your wedding, but its the perfect planning that makes for a successful day.

There are no packages for you to choose from, instead we sit with you over a cup of tea or coffee, and discuss what you want for your day. Its not our wedding, its yours and we never loose sight of that.

Timings & organisation, Menus & wine are all planned specifically for you. We can advise on main suppliers and those little extras that you may want, any cake maker, photographer, florist that we suggest is simply because like us they do an outstanding job.

Our Food

Our kitchen prepares fresh, local and seasonal food for you and your friend and family to enjoy. A menu created from your personal preferences using the best that Dorset & the West Country has to offer.

You may prefer a simple meal, or something more complex, you will meet Owen & Gemma to discuss your food passions, but don't worry if you are stuck for inspiration Owen & Gemma have samples of current menus and exciting new dishes to tempt your tastebuds.
